Cork

A one day masterclass on the streets of Cork. The 'Shooting Urban Portraits' workshops are limited to just 8 delegates, with 1 - 2 models - an inspirational intimate total shoot experience.

Who should attend?
This workshop is recommended for portrait photographers who wish to expand their creative abilities on location. All participants should know how to use their cameras. Participation in the workshop will be limited to just 8 in order to ensure the highest quality of instruction and less chance of being arrested on the streets of Cork :)
What you will learn:

1. You will learn new technical shooting skills. Using one - two models, you will receive hands-on instruction about finding and controlling ambient light, mixing ambient light with off camera TTL flash, and battery powered 'big flash'. Damien will teach you simple, easy-to-use repeatable systems. The images you shoot on the day will be way beyond those shot by 'Joe Public' with a DSLR.

2. As the whole process of shooting is dynamic you will learn how to interact with models and how to generate a creative flow. Damien will show you how to 'see' pictures where you may think none exist. This event is not about how many pixels your camera has, but a down to earth creative session that will push you beyond your usual photographic comfort zone.
What you will have at the end of the day to take away:

1. Whatever the weather we will be producing portfolio images you can use right away, on your website, in brochures or on your studio walls.

2. You will have a new repertoire of images you can shoot in Cork. Places to take your clients for pre wedding shoots perhaps, and above all, access to professional image making skills that have a high repeatable value. You will have the edge over your competition and you will feel renewed excitement for location shooting
